Graduation Day – Memorable moment indeed…

Hi friends,

The graduation function for our college was held on Feb 17th. The day was a very memorable one as all my college mates had come and all of us got a chance to meet each other after a long span of time. But still I missed my friends who are abroad doing their masters.

The college was lit with the smiles and hi’s of our entire batch and also the other departments, of course. We were all dressed up in yellow with something around our neck (sorry i don’t know what its called ;) ) .

I have attached a photo taken during the function. Click it to enlarge it. You can see Sajan Raj (Chairman, South India Division, Daikin Air conditioners), Myself, Lokeshwaran (CEO, South Asia Operations, Satyam) and Sachin (President, Chennai Division, Infosys). I will attach more photos soon.

See ya in the next post,

Keep smiling :)

Got myself a new phone :)

Hi friends,

Its quite a long since I’ve posted a new article. Being little busy with my work, I wasn’t able to find time to do the thing which used to be my favorite hobby before I got a job. Few weeks back, I got myself a new phone. After 3 months of tiresome work in my office, I had enough money to buy myself a touch screen PDA which had been one of the things which I planned to buy with my first salary. I got the black one because it had the anti slip finish. The other colors namely, white and red, didnt have that finish.

The phone looks handy and performs well. It has a very good standby time when compared to my previous Motorola E398. As you can infer from the picture posted below, it has a transparent cover which safeguards the inner touch screen from scratches.

There is no keypad and hence the screen size is big enough to hold a qwerty keyboard setup for messaging. Due to this, the user has to rely completely on the stylus. Motorola provides 3 nos of stylus with the package. The phone is equipped with a 2 MP camera with a 512 Mb memory card. The cons of this phone is messaging. Literally speaking, its impossible to message while you are travelling. So I forget the concept of messaging while I’m travelling way back home.

Meet you in the next post…
